Join us as we look back over what has frankly been a pretty extraordinary year. In this, our first collectable edition of the Army Cadets Yearbook, we'll share with you stories from across the Army Cadets as well as fantastic features and interviews, from both before during and after lockdown. Grab your little piece of Army Cadets history in this first edition of what is sure to be an annual Christmas stocking favourite!
Big thank you to SMI Peter Russell, County Public Relations Officer for Somerset Cadet Bn (The Rifles) ACF for the fantastic cover image.
I’m very proud to introduce the first annual edition of the Army Cadet Yearbook. If ever there was a year in recent history that required recording for posterity, 2020 is surely it.
This Yearbook captures many fantastic examples of how cadets have been “keeping the flame alive” during the Covid-19 pandemic.
From cadets making PPE to those helping at hospitals and in the community – and let us not forget the cadet living in an Anderson shelter – each one exemplifies Army Cadets values. Future generations will read about how Army Cadets coped during this significant time.
Read on to discover what individuals and detachments got up to during the year, meet inspiring adventurers and leaders, and discover more about the lives of the cadets.
We are the Army Cadets and this is our Yearbook.
